You guys must have heard about the BERSIH rally that was held on the Saturday last week. Its was huge among the people who lives in the are of Klang Valley because the roads were so packed up all around KL city.
The police have blocked all the roads that leads to the Palaca from the Merdeka Square. The purpose of the rally was to make a new system on the election. This BERSIH organization claimed that the current election system that we are using is not secure and is fixed by the government.
The best part was that the way the government is treating this issue. The local media played a big role in this issue since they are the government’s dog in liberating their beliefs. The day when this incident happened, they (the media) congratulates the police and the governement for doing a good job in handling these situation. What a sneaky bugger ey? They tried to create a diversion of the story so that people will have a good impression of the coppers and the government.
Anyways during the rally, it was said that the coppers sprayed the protesters with chemical waters and tear gasses. The police believed that this rally/protest wasnt approved by the government. The Malaysian law says that if there are more than 12 people congregates in one specific public place would be considered as an illegal meeting and they can be charged by the law inforcement.
Seriously guys… The government always say that Malaysia practice the freedom of speech in our contry but look at what happened?! Whenever someone tried to do something or trying to prove the people about the the flaws in our legislative system, they will shut them down! This is not freedom of speech! I mean, Im sure as hell that they will shut me down soon too if they can find me.
This is something that we need to be aware of people. Our country do not practise the freedom of speech and the freedom of choosing your own religion. We are being regulated by the regulator. Just beware and aware over these matter people. Thank you and have a nice day.
